Section Editor is a Chrome extension that collapses and expands contract sections on Procore commitment pages. This privacy policy describes how the extension handles user data.

Data Collection

Section Editor does not collect, transmit, or share any personal or sensitive user data. We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
• Web browsing activity beyond the Procore commitment pages where the extension operates
• Authentication or login credentials
• Contract content or document text

Local Storage

The extension stores the following data locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API:

• Collapse state (which sections are expanded or collapsed)
• User preferences (e.g., Auto vs Manual mode, section order)

This data remains on your device and is never sent to any server or third party.

Data Sharing and Transfer

Section Editor does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to any third party. No data is transmitted off your device.

Permissions

The extension requests limited permissions:

• Storage – to save your collapse state and settings locally
• Tabs – to detect the active tab and apply behavior only on Procore commitment pages
• Host access – to run on Procore commitment pages and provide section controls
